feel it to attract it

feel it to attract it

Instead of waiting for something to happen to change how you feel, try changing how you feel first. Don't wait for something out there to change how feel in here; you might wait forever. Instead, change how you feel inside to change your experience on the outside. This is how you become a magnet for all that your heart desires.

Did you know that 70%-80% of people have the same thoughts, feel the same feelings and demonstrate much of the same behaviors as the day before? According to leading research in neuroscience, your biology, your circuitry in your brain, your neurochemistry, your hormones and even your gene expression all respond equally to how you think, how you act, and how you feel.

If you do not change your thoughts, your feelings, or your actions, your day tomorrow will pretty much look like the same as your day today. And if you're depressed and anxious about your life and what's happening in your personal reality, that's not a great forecast. The good news: research proves that when you change how you think, feel and act, everything changes around you.

Research also shows that by the time we're 35 years old, 95% of our personality is a hardwired subconscious computer program while our conscious minds only makes up 5%. So you can think positive thoughts and say affirmations all day long, but 95% of your subconscious, which is stored in your body as a memory of the past, is going to be putting on the brakes. Your conscious rational brain is giving the green light, but your body is giving the red light.. and that leads to an incoherence in your being.

Physically, the body expresses that incoherence as symptoms of dis-ease, emotionally that incoherence expresses itself as confusion, frustration, anxiety, and doubt, and chemically it expresses itself as food cravings, hormone imbalance and disrupted sleep patterns.

Luckily, there is a way to access that subconscious part of your brain where you can reprogram it to create a new way of being. The fastest way to get there is to use the breath, taking time to go within. You have to get beyond your analytical mind and to do that, we have to enter a different brain wave.

As Einstein once said, "we cannot solve problems from the same level of thinking we were at when we created those problems." Commit to closing your eyes to get beyond the distractions of your environment, play some theta or alpha wave music and put in your earbuds (can find tracks anywhere on the internet), and make yourself sit and stay, ignoring the "I'm not good at this, I can't do this, I need to answer emails/texts/social media prompts, I'll do it later.." voice for at least 10 minutes. Let that part of you that doesn't want to do it know that you'll be back in 10 minutes, you're excusing yourself to add in a different experience as an experiment. Set a timer. Just try it.

Remember that making a new choice leads to a new, different behavior and a new, different behavior creates a new experience; that experience leads to a new emotion and feeling and that new emotion and feeling inspires a new thought. With this, you create a new neural pathway in the brain. At first it'll be like bushwacking through a briar patch and then, with daily practice, it'll look like a footpath, and then a two lane, and then a yellow brick road to a new personal reality, one that is more coherent and in alignment with how you "wish" you could be "if only this and this would happen."

The trick to getting it now, is to feel it now to attract it now, as if it had already happened and the way to do that is to take time to close your eyes and imagine it as if it already has.

I imagine you'll be surprised how different your outer world can be when you go within, taking the time to feel now what you want to be feeling later.
